What is the Puffuns Watching?
Puffin watching is a trip to find and admire the birds that are the symbol of Iceland. Puffins spend most of their lives in the ocean. They go ashore for the first time when they reach sexual maturity, and they do so once a year for the sole purpose of reproducing and raising their offspring. Observation of puffins is possible from April to the second week of August (in Vestmannaeyjar to the second week of September). The best times to observe these amazing birds are early morning and late evening (when they leave or return to their nests) We organize observation in Dyrholaey-Reyjnisfjara, Vestmannaeyer, Flatey, Western Fiords and Borgarfjordur Eystri
